Post by lifeishell91 »

Does anybody know of any cool places like the earthly delights place in Vvardenfall, Solstheim or Mournhold?? And does anyone know any really funny people like M'aiq the Liar, 'cos I mean seriously, this game takes it self wwwwwaaaaayyyyy too seriously. It would be cool if there was like a giant bunny that told jokes etc. Thanx in advance :D

I suggest you consult the talking Mudcrab merchant. :D Or talk to your nearest wandering naked Nord.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Yeah the mudcrab was a good laugh, too bad he doesn't say alot, but yeah in a huge game like this I think they could have spread a few more humorous characters here and there.

Is the falling guy part of a quest? I know that he has a journal on his body, so I thought maybe you returned it to someone.

I heard a humorous line from Tusamireil in the Sadrith Mora Mage's Guild.

"I don't recall using teleportation, and yet there I was... alone....naked...."

LMAO! :D

Get the Tribunal expansion. Go to the Mournhold Temple and wait. One of the Dunmer there which will actually say "Woo hoo hoo hoo". I fell out of my chair the first time I heard that, I was laughing so hard. :D

This is *really* cool place, not so funny though.

But be adviced that there are quite powerfull items available for a low-lever char, so I'm considering this a SPOILER!!!

This text is from another forum, written by someone else:

Go to the Lizard's Head tavern in Vivec, Telvanni canton and find a nord named Ennbjof who wants some matze for a secret. Buy a jug of mazte and the old drunk tells you about a hidden burial place of The nord kings son and should give you a key + some directions as well. The tomb is located in an island south of Molag Mar, but before doing anything else I highly recommend to obtain the moon blessing from Vivec's temple (donate a rising force potion). Now travel to the tomb by flying directly east from St.Olms canton (this way you can avoid the most enemies and if you fly high you should skip even the cliff racers). The tomb is called Marvani Ancestral Tomb and it's on the island just before the pennisula and has some low level undeads in it. After the second room you find three doors. Open the level 80 door with your key and follow the stairs down to an other door, enter. Now you are in the maze area where the moon blessing comes handy. Just fly to the northeastern corner, turn around, and enter the burial chamber. The most treasures are on the ship, but the best loot is on the roof, straight up from the entrance. There you find a daedric warhammer (30000gp) and a daedric helm(17000gp). Thats it.

Places like these make you explore all those ancient graves very thoroughly...

Lizard's Head trophy

Also in the Lizard's Head inn you can break into the storeroom and find the head of an Argonian mounted on a plaque. Doesn't seem to be of any use though. Kind of creepy considering you can play as an Argonian. Not that much different from finding the mounted head of a nord or breton when you think of it.

I have found a guy in a shrine in muur gan or something, you go in and the only option is to taunt him until he attacks you, when you kill him it posts in your journal, but I havent worked out the significance of this guy yet.

I do get a certain amount of satisfaction out of taunting him though.

someone stole my trousers

Go to Gnisis and walk up to the silt strider there. Now look down into the water, and there is a guy just stood there up to his chest in water.

If you go down and talk to him (his name is Hentus Yamsurmummu or something like it), he tells you he was bathing when a farmer called Hainab stole his pants and he doesn't want to leave the water until he has them back !

You can go and persuade Hainab to give them to you if you use a little bribery, and give them back to Hentus to complete a rather bizarre story.

I have heard that northeast of Bal fell there is a talking mudcrab!
Apparently if you talk to him it turns out that he is rich and will buy Items for full price up to 10'000gp. I havent checked this out for myself but if its true, then thats a handy way of making cash quickly. I suggest marking it and using recall to get back there, as he should restock his cash every 24 hours.

the talking mudcrab is there, on a tiny island around bal fel. however, it took me nearly an hour of wandering around and walking up to hundreds of mudcrabs, afgraid to kill them as they may be th mythical talking mudcrab. so, after being whacked about a hundred times waiting to see if they would talk to me, I finally came across a tiny island with a nice mudcrab who was kind enough to trade with me. AT least as far as Morrowind and Bloodmoon go, he is the only merchant with huge wads of cash (moreso than the Creeper fella). The mudcrab does have $10,000 in cash and will buy pretty much anything. having finished the mian quest and Bloodmoon's main quest, I went to him and sold off wads of daedric and ebony and glass stuff i never used but had been collecting in my houses in Balmora and in my cottage in Odai. Anyway, once you find the mudcrab, MARK IT!!!! He is hard to find.

If you check your paper map you'll see an island called Mzahnch just southeast of Suran. The mud crab is on a tiny island on the southeast heel of Mzahnch.

And yes, do mark it so that you can teleport there easily. Getting back to a more central area is not too bad if you have Almisivi or Divine Intervention. Almsivi will land you in Molag Mar, and from there you can take a boat to the Vivec Foreign Quarter, which is conveniently close to the silt strider platform. Divine takes you to Ebonheart.

Good Luck!
