My party just killed Nym in the Wandering Village although he didn't start a fight (pickpocket went wrong) - will this have a bad effect on the game? We bought all the stuff we wanted from him.
Nym IS evil - right? We also killed the djinni Ondabo in the Ice Temple because we found out he worshipped Talos.
Killed Nym
I don't know. I'm surprised they didn't make him unkillable. I don't know that it would have any effect, other than creating inconsistencies in the storyline.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Usually when you kill a plot-important character, it's game over, and you have to reload. I remember that being the case at one point in Chapter 3.
Still, when I failed to pick Nym's pockets, he hid and disappeared, and practically nothing else.
Dungeon Crawl Inc.: It's the most fun you can have without 3 midgets and a whip! Character stats made by your's truly!

killing Nym shouldnt effect anything...I usually kill him...when I get up to that point I usually have the Finger Of Death with one of my mages and I just give old Nym the finger (with all spell penetration and buff up high stats) he usually keels over and I get all his stuff...not much that is really good, but I just love giving people the finger in that game...
