Terjon Wants more followers quest.

Post by Styffer »

Hi there.

I am looking for some help to solve the above mentioned quest.
I can figure out that much that I need one of the healing scrolls to heal the leatherworks son in law, but every time I try to use one, I am told that i have failed to use that item.

Anybody who could tell me what is wrong.

Best regards
Steffen,

Your Cleric needs to have the "Read Magic" (Level 0 spell) memorized. This will allow him to cast the spell from the scroll with ease.

Still can't do it.

Hi there.

I have followed all the directions I can, but I can't use the scroll. Do I need to be a certain level with me cleric to use it, because I can see all the other scrolls I have read (with the read magic) but not the heal one.
Is there another way to heal the son in law?

No other way at that point.

Let me see...

You are trying to use it through the radial menu, correct? From what I remember, after you identify it, and have Read Magic memorized, you have to right-click, and in the inventory option (a button shaped like a backpack), you get the option to use a scroll, like the way you use potions. Sound understandable?

It sounds very understandable, but the heal scrool is not at all shown in the radial menu! I can get it shown in my mages and bards and even my rouge radial menu, but nothing helps, he can't be healed.

I am out of my mind, becaus that quest is a key to another quest with the carpenter, soooo.

Take care.

Spoiler???

There should also have been a potion of heal in the same place you "found" the scroll. You can use the potion on Bing and it will work just fine.

That will resolve the quest, but doesn't fix the inability to read the scroll. Sorry.

Hmmm... that is VERY strange.

Even before I patched the game, this quest did not give me problems.

Keil Randor. From what I remember, there wasn't a potion of heal on that shelf, let alone a potion at all.

Found the solution.

WOAW.

Finally I had this quest solved.

Here comes the spoiler:

In the bookcase in Terjons office there is also two potions, one of them is a heal potion, but you need to get it identified first for instance at the balcksmith.
This heals Bink right up and you can solve the quest.
