does the exp point attribution change at different level of difficulty?

in the display there are non changes, but I heared that the effective exp gaigned for easy and normal levels is lower than the normal

is it true?

No that's not true.
I think the manual says that somewhere, but it is definetly not true. Maybe it was that way in BG1, but in BG2 you get the same experience regardless of difficulty setting.
