just so you know, they are all player characters, and they are all lvl 10. i think she (the wizard) died amidst a big battle and was ressurceted after it, thus not gaining and xp from the battle, but when i looked it said they indeed she had gained the xp. but it's such a huge gap im positive i couldn't have created it just by enchating/creating items.

haha i am saved! i got all my people to 54999 exp by doing the following:
get the water power gem
put it in skull
summon hezrou
kill it (i use my barbarian w/ fragarach b/c she'll never miss)
get like 4-5 THOUSAND xp.

and you get probably kill the hezrou at about like 7 or 8, so once you can summon it you can be at lvl 10 in no time, with a massive amount of extra xp to enchant weapons with! yahoo!

The cost of raising the dead

Yes , you can get much needed XP from killing the Elemental node bosses over and over again, but .........

As for your question, when a PC dies and you raise dead on it or ressurection on it the spell will work wonder, but at a cost:

Ressurection at Jarod the Druid in Homlet is cheaper ( i think ) than Raise Dead at St.Cuthberts in pure gold..

If this happens for a LVL 1 Character no XP loss occurs but a total of + 1 in con is removed, i.e. con 14 becomes con 12.

If you are high level an extensive amount of XP is permanently removed. Example : Your Mage is at Lvl 8 and has 34.555 XP ( soon to become LVL 9, everbody cheers ) but then, alas, in the final level-specific battle that you have prepared for everubody else is doing fine but your mage DIES.

O Bother , you say and ressurect/raises him back to life....

He now has 24.500 XP, halfway betwen LVL 7 and LVL 8, except that he is still level 8!!!!

That is the price you have to pay to return from the dead. It sucks, especially in a computer game with an XP cap of 10!!

It'll take a long time 'fore your mageling can scribe scrolls again, sonny

Get any wiser ?

Love, Sir Mulligan

haha you sound so dumb. that's interesting tho i guess. but killing the toad guy is just too good when he can't fight back and you get 5k xp.
