how do i get emridy meadow to appear on the world map? who do i talk to/what quest etc...

You may also talk to Terjon at the church. If you promise to find his lost artefact for him he'll update your map.

With good CHA score you may talk to Rentch in Nulb, he will also give info on the location.

Otis in Nulb also knows the location, i think ( not sure )
but i'm always done with this quest when i enter Nulb.
