Hi all,
I just got the 1500 gold required to go to spellhold but I haven't done a lot of quest in Athkatla yet.
Can I go and pick Imoen in my team(to get less level difference between the caracters of my team) and come back to town and finish the quest left after ?
Are some quest desacivated after going to spellhold ?

No, you can do all quests after you come back, although spellhold and the following areas (I don't want to spoil you 
) can be difficult with a very low level party. Imoen will either have 400.000 exp or 1.200.000 exp when you pick her up again (depending on your level).

You can start the Planar Sphere quest at any time. I usually find it is better to start Stronghold Quests (which this is if you are a wizard) early, since they tend to extend over long stretches of time. The Paladin Stronghold is an exception and there may be others that I am not thinking of.
There are two quests that may not be available unless you started them in Chapter 2 (ie before you turned in the 15000 GP and chose sides):
SPOILERS
1. The Mae'var guild quest can only be started if you talk to Renal Bloodscalp of the thieve's guild. If you side with Bodhi, he will not be available and neither will the quest. If you start the quest and do not finish it in Ch 2, you will not be able to get the final XP and reward.
2. Edwin's Nether Scroll Quest can only be completed if you have him in your party. But he only becomes available in the middle of the Mae'var quest, so if you didn't at least start that in Ch 2, this one will not be available either.
I don't know if either of these can be started in Ch 3 if you side with the thieves, since I have never tried that. But they definitely go away if you side with Bodhi.
