can't get back to kill Klauth!!!!!

Houstan we have a problem

I have a serious dilema here, I went into Klauth's lair , after realizing that it was too early in the game to be a serious threat to him, I teleported back to the temple. I continued adventuring to gain more experience and wealth, in my ensuing adventures I used the stone of recall in a different place, so now the recall portal doesn't lead back to Klauth. I tried to get in to his lair but no can do. It seems when I first challenged him he locks the door so you can't escape. Now the door is also locked from the other side when you try to get to his lair through the fire giant lair. I can't bash it open and spells won't work. Any suggestions?

Also, Is there any way to get the blue dragon out of the dragon orb to kill him? I stuck him in there before realizing that I should have sucked him in there dead to weaken klauth.

(You should have added that it's a spoiler in the title)

The blue dragon can be bound inside the sphere either at full health, or after being killed. The first option gives you a full-health Klauth to fight (but you don't necessarily have to fight him), the other a severely weakened one. Once you bind the dragon, though, there's no changing your mind.

As far as your main problem is concerned, can't help you much - it seems like you've really messed it up for yourself (seeing as you had challenged him already) and might have to go back to a save game prior to the challenge. Perhaps there is some other option, but I'm not aware of it.

yeah I think you basically have to go back to an earlier save....
