Will Fable be available on PC as well as Xbox right off the bat?

Well it defintely wont be out on PC the same date as its release on the XBOX but this is what a spokesperson from the development studios had to say.....: "Lionhead and Big Blue Box are in discussions with Microsoft about bringing Fable to PC,"

No

Microsoft has a contract with Molyneuex for exclusive license for six months. Not only does this mean that it's Xbox only for that time, it also means that every delay in the Xbox release means a delay in the PC release.

Maybe the most important thing to consider is that the delays can get even longer. Unlike Fable and Halo 2, which have both missed their original targets by over 6 months, the Xbox2 is having no trouble in development to this point and is on target for it's scheduled release in summer 05. If Fable isn't going to be finished well before Xmas it could be rescheduled -and redesigned-for the Xbox2, meaning a Xmas 05 PC release.

That's if things go completely to hell, and so far that seems to be what's been going on with Fable.

Guys, if you want to spam, the site owner asks that you do so down in the Speak Your Mind (SYM) forum, not here. Thanks. :)

Sony or any other gigantic company isn't as different from microsoft as you think.
