Sure you can, there will be a person to speak to in each telvanni tower who will give you membership. You can join any of the great houses - but the telvanni are the best if you are a mage.

The Great Houses rule large portions of the map. House Haalu rule Balmora and the South West, House Redoran rule Ald'rhun and the North West and House Telvanni rule the East Coast. You will see guards of one of the houses in each settlement - except Vivec. Haalu are merchants, Redoran are warriors and Telvanni are mages.

I think you have to talk to Raven Omayn in the Telvanni Council House in Sadrith Mora to join. But there are others you can speak to - you will get quests from Ravan Omayn and several other people. There are 11 Telvanni quest givers, and 28 quests i think.

If you want to join House Redoran see Neminda in the Ald'ruhn Redoran Hall in the Manor District of Ald'ruhn.

And House Haalu see Nileno Dorvayn at the Balmora council manor.

You can only join one house at one time.

Awsome! What's the highest rank? Like the highest rank in Mages Guild is Arch-Mage.

You can get to be the ruler of the Telvanni, with your own tower. I believe you rank then is Archmagister.

Btw, Hlaalu are *not* merchants, they are thiefs and assasins. Gues why the master assasins name is "Hlaalu".

Hmmm - they do call themselves merchants as well. And they do value the Speechcraft and Mercantile along with the old short blade and sneak ones.

I just always dismiss the idea that they are assassins because none of them are a very challenging fight.

Just because Eno Haalu has the word Haalu in his name is not a conclusive link, he has no in game links to the Great House.

Eno Hlaalo not Hlaalu. Its slightly different. House Hlaalu is a house of merchants with shady business practices.
