i made a solo paladin and got him to level 6 before i got to terjon mission where i needed to perform a miracle and found out paladins cannot use divine scrolls. i added a cleric and played only those two for a while. right before i entered the temple of elemental evil i rested over and over to fight trolls and reaise my clerics xp. i got her to right before she leveld again and made my greatsword, the Greatsword of Virtue named after the one in IWD2 just like it but this one i think is better:
+3
Might Cleaving
Holy
Axiomatic
im gonna add keen and flaming at higher level.
in the temple it does 30 damage to every creature and no matter the alignment it adds the holy and axiomatic bounses on critical hits doing around 50 damage!
this so far is the best team i have made, just a paladin and a cleric. i can enchant things, heal, and turn undead wich there seems to be a lot of in this game
PS sorry for wasting forums space i was just so happy with this outcome
"War does not determine who is right, it determines who is left"
I only started to enchant my weapons with axiomatic properties after I read your post - now we really kick butt!
All our weapons (greatsword, greataxe, and falchion) are +3, keen, holy, axiomatic, and flaming with flaming burst - plus the 3 fighters wielding them all have great cleave.
"It's so easy to make flaming burst available in your game as long as you can live with yourselves for doing so...
Open the TOEE folder, then the data folder, then the rules folder, and then the item creation document (I use notepad).
Scroll down to weapon creation and find flaming burst - it has a C12 in the line that you need to change to C10 and - voila! Your 10th level mage can create a weapon with flaming burst."
Your call if you want to do it or not - I personally couldn't stand not being able to enchant my weapons with it, since both icy and shocking burst were available - but it is cheating...
