Freeing Drow slaves

Post by Jurosementalistile »

How do you free the slaves in the north-east corner of Ust'Natha? Talking to the slave owner reveals that only important members of the houses may buy slaves. Lying and saying I was member of Desdana(?) house did not work. Using force turned the city against me and didn't even free the slaves. The last mission I have done for Phaere was killing the beholder. Do I need to be further along there so I can be considered under the influence of her house, or is that unrelated.
Also, Phaere wants me to wait for ages between missions and I already cleared out the dungeons of the Illithids, Beholders and the Kua-toa. Is there any way to speed things up and/or kill time?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thankyou.

Talk with the slave master again after you talk with the Matron Mother. Looks like you're on the right track, you just need to kill some time by resting a few times.

I can only assume the quest with the slaves works out if you have Viconia with you - the drow you saved from being burned at the stake in Athlatka.

The slaves are namely from House de Vir, and just guess what Viconia's full name is? Right, Viconia de Vir.
