1) First Rule Of Advice: Check out the walkthrough. It gives you some advice that is very helpful.
2) This going from my Prima's Official Strategy Guide.
The lost followers can be considered invurable to all but a few attacts. They are immune to sleep, hold, paralyze, cold, and any magic that effects only living creatures. Thiough undead they can't be turned.
To understand how to defeat each of these daunting foes, read the text on the Medallion. It provides the weakness of each.
*Kaervas: Immune to piercing and slashing damage. Use bludgeoning and magic attacks (especially acid) instead. Shy away from fire, cold and electrical spells.
*Inhein-Who-Was-Taken: Since she is a vampire, piercing weapons work best (though fire acid, slashing, and crushing hurt too). Cold and electrical attacks are worthless.
*Broken Khree: Use Piercing attacks, but not projectiles (his reflexes are too good). Use instead melee piercing weapons like a short sword or spear. He also boast resistance to fire, cold, electrical, acid, and magic.
*Atalaclys: Vulnerable to heat so focus on fire or acid attacts. Slashing and crushing attacks work well, but a fire enchanted sword is the best bet.
*Jaiger: Fight in close to effectively diminish his bow attacks-if you fight from a distance he'll mow you down in seconds. Fire, acid, slashing, and crushing damage are also effective. Don't waste spells or missles weapons.
*Veddion Kairne: Only effective attacks are slashing and acid. His fire, cold, electrical, and magic resistance are too high to overcome.
Tell me I did not write this for nothing.?. Was all this info in the item description? I kind of doubt it. So that is why I included it.
Defeat them and you keep the Holy Avenger. Plus. any Paladins in your party get +1 STR:/+1 WIS and a +5 bonus to max hit points.
Read the walkthrough. I suggest summoning a bunch of your toughest creatures and using the entangeling arrows or such. Also have your thieves set traps. Do all this before you click on the grave. Uber defensive spells help.
I think this battle is not the hardest, but very tactical. You will have to be pausing quit a bit and selecting individually your desired actions. I think any party can overcome this battle, even you. Don't get me wrong, there are exseptions, and they very.
Well I hope this helps, and have fun. Post back your results and anwser as to weather this info is in the Item description please. I have not played in a while.
I'll make mine Targos!!!!
