Another On Chloe

Post by joplin »

Is there any way I can get Chloe in my party without going through that wretched dungeon, please?
Cheers

If I may quote from Chloe's readme : :)
Q. Any chance you'd be able to get her Dungeon Be-Gone?
A. Not at this time. I don't know anything about that mod since I've never used it. I would prefer at least the first time you play Chloe you go through the entire dungeon so you can see Chloe's comments and a special dialogue that only occurs here. After you've seen those, if the creaters of DBG have included a stop for Chloe, then feel free to use it if you really want to. I, however, will not be involved in that project except perhaps to answer a question or two (though anything too technical you'd likely want to ask Sheredane instead.)

Q. But if you don't use Dungeon Be-Gone, you have to do half of Chateau Irenicus just to get to her!
A. What's your point?

Q. That starting dungeon is bloody annoying!
A. Waah. ;-)

Thanks for that. I did read the read me file. I just wondered if anyone had come up with a sneaky way around it.
I`d like to have tried her in my party, but not at the cost of going through that oh so boring dungeon.

I really don't understand what everyone hates so much about it...
I mean, it takes you an hour at most, and if I were you I'd do the whole dungeon how boring it may be, Chloe is worth it IMO ;)

Numinor, I hear what you`re saying, but I have this awful idea that if I went round the dungeon, I might not meet Chloe.
I downloaded Tashia and was told she was in Trademeet. When I got there, she was not to be found. (I believe there is only one Tavern in Trademeet).
The idea of going around the dungeon and not meeting up with Chloe is a nightmare.
cheers

Chloe is an excellent mod! and well worth the effort. She is found in that area where you need the statue of air to enter (note: Chloe has already taken the statue)

Well, she wasn`t there. When I ran the file again I got an error message on the second run of the setup.
Delightful as she may be, it looks as though I`ll never meet her.
Cheers
