Adamantium

Post by Lelio »

This is a question from Tribunal - is it possible to find/steal/beg/borrow/ a complete set of adamantium armour. This is the second time i have completed the tribunal quests and the again i seem to have found all the pieces of ore available on the map, as well as all the pieces of already made armour available.

So far i have the helmet, the right and left bracers, the boots and the greaves. I also have 6 pieces of ore left. Does anyone know where i can find more ore, or even completed parts of adamantium armour?

on the official site theres a mod for 'the adamantium helm of Tohan' which is a quest to get a normal adamantium helm. you wont see one for sale so thats useful
you can buy the full set from a few armorers in vardenfell if you install one of the official mods
other
if you want more ore, wait a bit. it comes back i'm pretty sure
or you could kill someone for the armor

Offical mod eh.....

It does not seem to regenerate - i slept for a week by one set and no new ore turned up.

On top of this there does not seem to be anyone at all in the Tribunal expansion who wares any adamantium armour - and i have killed/stolen off people i suspect of wearing it to no luck.

I bet there is a complete set in a crate in some damp and dusty corner of the map that no one in their right mind would ever find - damn programmers!

Does he have a set? - then he must die so his armour can join my collection.

I have reached the stage that i have played morrowind so much i have decided to collect one of every item in the game. You need a surprising amount of space.

I have a mod that puts Adamantium armour in a couple of sellected shops. It's ridiculously expensive, and you won't find a helm, but still....

Its not all that expensive. Just trade one of the armorers who carries it (Caldera, for instance) some extra ebony or glass equipment for the adamantium. Along with the mod that adds the adamantium armor is another one that adds a helm. The helm is in a new daedric shrine in Sheogorad that has been added as well. If you have both mods you can easily get the set, but I'm not sure why anyone would want it as the enchantment value of the pieces is low and there is no master trainer for medium armor.

Actually, the helmet has quite good enchantment capasity.

Yes, the helm is pretty decent but its a seperate mod and its not as good as the Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw (but that's heavy armor). If I'm going to wear medium armor I prefer the dreugh warchief armor from the Illuminated Order mod. Every piece, including a dreugh staff and dreugh club, have nice CE fortify enchantments.

thats why they put so much different clothing and armor in morrowind so you can look damn good while you are "bashing demons" my personal opinion is that adamantim armor is ugly, i can afford better armor or steal it, or not wear armor altogether...

I dont want to wear adamantium armour, medium armour sucks, i just want the full set for my collection of weapons and armour. And because i was genuinly not sure whether a full set existed in the game or not.

Hmmm - not convinced. Seen as i use the magic armour of a Hand of Amalexia it matters not - and the dude you see in Ebonheart about the darkbrotherhood does wear adamantium. So i now have the complete set for my collection.

someone said kill the guy in ebonheart! how do you kill him!!!

or am i just not at i high enough level?

one thing i though about doing is making a spell of disitegrate armour at 100 so that i just destroy his armour then pick pocket it off him cos he will just be holding it. i dont know if it will work though?

I hit him twice with Trueflame - and he died. I nicked the armour and jumped over the wall to avoid the guards. I then recalled back to Balmora and got the price on my head removed. Simple - but i am level 49.
