HELP, panic! De'Arnise Hold...

Having a bit of a problem with the hold...
I just can't seem to get the Keep Key! I've been assured that the key is supposed to be on a Yuan-Ti on the second floor, in the library... Well, I've killed him a long time ago, and never got a key! So, I've tried to find the key somewhere else, without any luck... HELP!
Is there any other way to get in through those doors, or to find the key? I would rather not cheat, but if it comes down to ither that, or starting all over again...

Go back to that room where you fought the Yuan-Ti spellcaster. There's a bookshelf type of thing right next to the collapsed door. It's got the key.

OK, well I thougth I'd checked all the bookcases... but I hadn't looked in the the one beside the door... a bit embarrasing, I must say... hehe!
Thank you for answering kind of a dumb question, pointed me in the right direction! Thought the key was supposed to be on the actual creature, so I wasn't too thorough when checking the bookcases...
