Map problem

Post by PanzerBjorn »

I just started playing Morrowind on Xbox and I can't seem to get my town maps to work. The world overview comes up but the 'local' is always all black. Is there something I need to do like buy a map or cast a spell?

I had the same problem once (although it was on pc) and all I had to do was restart the game.

I just went to try this and it didn't help. Any other ideas?

Everywhere you haven't been is all black. Maybe you just have it focused on an area you haven't been. Try moving the map around and maybe you'll find the local area you are at.

I also thought that might be it, but when I center on my location, I still don't see anything. I scrolled all over the 'local' map just in case, and I didn't see anything that wasn't black.

sounds interesting, i'm on the XB version too, and nothing like this has happened to me (other than making Caldera disappear off the face of the planet) I suugest trying to start a new game and see if there is the same problem, check the disk too, and if there is something wrong, return the game and/or get an exchange.

sorry :(
