I do belive that its to back up the fact that he voted for the dark elves, loves them and wants to have little dunmer children.

I started out as a Breton for my second time. I think that if you want to go for magic (which I consider to be coolest) this is probably the best choice. Because now almost all my stats are 100 (being lvl 72) and I still have a lot of benifit of the magica multiplier (I also to an enhancing birthsign not sure which exacly )
