game freeze in the asylum

game freeze in the asylum

I'm at the part right when you get in the asylum and Irenicus reveals himself and tells you he poisoned you. Instead of my characters passing out, they just stand there but I lose player control.

Any advice???

Have you tried patching the game with the latest patches?
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.
