Arx Fatalis hints and walkies

I have found a cheap copy of Arx Fatalis in my local gameshop, and found it slightly intriguing. It is OK, though hardly a Morrowind.
What does bug me with AF is that it is often very counter-intuitive in its puzzles. There are at least half a dozen small holes and gates I haven't solved, and it bugs me to no end.
The question is, thus, hath anyone an idea where one can find a GOOD walkthrough? I have searched on google, and most are only concerned with the main plot. :/

thanks to GameFAQs, I found the excellent UHS page here which offers solutions to all the puzzles and so forth without spoilers as far as posible.

if you want a full walkthrough, I could only find one for the X-box here, although I have yet to look for a PC specific one. hope this helps, because I know very well that sometimes the game leaves you without the faintest idea what to do or where to go.
