i just finished a romance with jaheira and i like her character (that is, i like the fighter/druid class)
i want to play a berserker druid, but if i dual over to the druid at level 13 i'm worried that in ToB my character will be about 1.5 mill in exp away from HLAs.
does the HLA system work the same for dual class characters as multiclass (i.e. HLAs at 3 mill exp) or do i have to wait a while?

With dual classes you'll get the HLA when the second class reach 3 million exp, so if you dual late you are going to wait more.
But it's not the end of the world, your char. will be very effective anyway, only I would suggest to dual to a druid earlier.
Between 9th and 13th lev. you will be gaining only 1/2 attack/r, one prof. point and one extra rage, but you will be a druid with 4-5 less level, and that in the end count more.
So my suggestion is to dual your berserker at 9, that way you will also get the HLA much earlier.
