Fly Me To The Moon(s)

Post by Gwalchmai »

What an amazing find!

Just for the fun of it, I went to the outdoor shrine at High Fane in Vivec, gave up a Rising Force potion, and got the 100 pt levitation blessing. Since it was night, I looked up, saw the two moons, and just started flying toward them. After just about forever, the scene suddenly transformed and I found myself actually on the moon! There were a bunch of Hungers there, wearing hats. They didn’t attack. They just loaded me with 100 breads and teleported me back to Seyda Neen! What a weird trip!
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

That is weird, but it is cool though that the creators of the game thought of the possibility of someone trying to go to the moon.
In fact I am going to try in right now.

I'll be back....

Hmmz, I put my speed up to 5000 but I never got there, I did get some weird loadings though but I never made it to the moon :-( Were there any specific circumstances that I might have missed or have you just found a rare and weird aspect of the game?

Hmmm... It worked fine for me. What a great chestnut! And those hungers with their bread, LMAO! :D

I was already wearing my ring of levitation, and I downed a homemade speed/rising force potion just before receiving the blessing. Maybe that made a difference?

It could be the location or the blessing, since it was clouded in vivec I left from Sadrith Mora with a constant effect levitation amulet instead of the blessing.
I'll give it an other try tomorrow (watching the night of the living dead now :p )

That could be. Also I aimed for the little grey moon rather than the big red one, if that makes a difference.

@Gwalchmai,
Did you also see those funny-looking ruins into the distance? They were a bit like the Daedric ones but instead of being purplish in colour they seemed to be black and gold. I was just about to head over to them when I was approached by the hungers and then whisked away again. Most annoying! I had been getting quite excited by what I might find there.

No! :o I didn't see the ruins! I saw the hungers and ran straight to them with my short blade drawn! I'll have to give it another try later tonight when I can play again. I wonder what's to be found in the ruins?

I must admit that it was a good one though I've actually been trying to get there :p

Okay, well I tried it again (for the first time) last night, and failed to reach the moons. Then I realized that it was an April Fools joke! (but I really did try it out....) :D

Thanks for being good sports. :)

Hungers wearing hats... Interesting idea, but that sort of gave it away. :p
I must say the mental picture I got was hilarious.
