Kagaxx Quest.
I've heard alot about the Kagaxx the Lich quest, but have been unable to find a way to start it. Could someone tell me how to start it?

Starting Kangaxx quest (spoilers)
First you have to find his crypt. Go to the docks and head down to where Mae'var's thief hangout is (the thief stronghold if you are playing a thief). Just to the left of this building is a trapped and locked door. Disarm and pick the lock and enter. I don't think there's any monsters inside (maybe Minotaurs if anything).
Go down the stairs to his tomb and click on the sarcophogus. He'll appear and ask you to help him recover the bones to his body which have been scattered. He will be restored if you bring him the bones. There are two sets of bones to recover.
Highlight for more spoilers:One set is in the bridge district. It is located next to the entrance to the Twisted Rune door and near where the kidnappers hang out. This door is also trapped. It will turn you to stone if you don't disarm it. Inside is another lich. This one is an elemental lich and can be a handful.
The second set of bones is in the Temple district sewers. You have to initiate the Unseeing Eye quest to reach the crypt where these are kept. Anothor lich, this one is pretty easy. You need to get the key to the locked door from the Unseeing Eye cult guards. When you go through the locked door, down a twisted trapped corridor you will run into Sassar. He will ask you not to disturb the liches tomb (probably because he's standing right next to it and doesn't want to get killed himself.
Now take the bones back to Kangaxx, give them to him and watch your whole party get killed. You can read up on tactics on how to kill him by searching this forum. I use a combo of traps, Ring of the Ram, Improved Mace of disruption+2 and scroll of protection from magic or undead normally. You need a +4 weapon to even hurt him.

Yeah, I think there are three minotaurs in the building. Or at least, I know that there is one building in the Docks District that has three minotaurs inside of it, but I am pretty sure that those buildings are one in the same.
Not that anyone is concerned about three minotaurs but at least people will be expecting them now.

Possible spoilers (and maybe some cheese):
Well I have to admit that I worked him over really bad this time and powdered his sorry bony behind. I had my half-elf multiclass F/T, Jaheira, Minsc, Nalia and Keldorn in the party. Gave Keldorn 4 copies of Protection from Undead and two copies of Prot. from Magic scrolls and loaded them into his quickslots. Then I gave him Vhailor's Helm and had him cast Simulcrum. Had the simmy of Keldorn cast the scrolls on all but my F/T (so I could trigger the Kangax dialog). Set 4 traps where he spawns and two in the upper left hand corner of the room. Summoned Kangaxx, got the dialog and sent my F/T running for the far corner near the door. Minsc wailed on him with the improved MoD+2 and I think the Frostreaver axe. Jahiera wailed on him with the Staff of Rhynn+4 and Nalia used Usano's Blade+4. My F/T standing in the far corner used the Ring of the Ram (pickpocketed as I hadn't done Planar Sphere yet) to blast Kangaxx over to the second set of traps. Somehow Jaheira got stunned (thought she was protected but something got through) but Minsc and Nalia made short work of the demi-lich form of Kangaxx. It was a massacre, but then I did throw just about every trick I had at him. Minsc got the credit for the kill. The Twisted Rune was a similar massacre. The hardest fights have been the adamantium golems in the Planar Sphere and Windspear with pretty much just Jaheira and Nalia doing all the smacking action with their staves.
Great fun, eh Boo?
