How many stinkin Spriggans do I have to kill???

I'm on Solstheim. Having fought and vanquished Hircine, I am now helping Falco build the Raven Rock colony. I've been told to clear the Spriggans out from the woods east of the colony, so the area can be cleared and built up. I've slaughtered a dozen of the woody wenches, but the worker keeps saying "As long as they're out there, I'm off duty." Is the a cluster of the bark-clad biddies that I've missed? Will my journal update when I kill the last one? What must I do?

you might be in the wrong place then. I think you only have to kill four or five of them. You will see one at the est end(i think) of raven rock, kill it then another one attacks you. They will respawn and you just keep killing then your journal updates.

first of all, and nothing else has materialized there! I even waited at that spot for awhile . . . still nothing!

I had a lot of trouble with this myself. After killing the first one, I wandered about in ever-widening half-circles around that side of Raven Rock for 3 days, checking back at the town periodicly. Then, perhaps the 4th time I came back to town, there were about 4 of them right where the first one was.

Maybe I'll just park myself where I killed that first one and sleep for a few days, till her sappy sisters come and seek revenge . . .

then I'll show them my woodcutting skills!
