As far as I know you can kill everyone who attacks you first without disrupting any mission, assignment or possibility. That theory is working now for over half a year with my character with whom I have nearly played all missions.

So within the Dunmer strongholds you can practically kill everyone (since practically everyone will attack you) you should however keep an eye on rare items for it occurs that they are required in missions.

Thanks! :) I knew it was okay to go after NPCs whom attacked me first, but the place seemed quite important so I was a bit unsure. I also generally try to avoid slaughtering NPCs when I play...
Though monsters, dremora and the like are fair game ;)

Naw, I really like fighting humanoid creatures. Especially if they are really strong. As soon as I am sure I will not need him anymore king Helseth is my next target, sure to become a beautiful fight.

Downloaded

I downloaded mages tower in peleigad loads a storage gr8 arlchemy study other secrets. Ring to teleport you to it. it also has 4 floors and a bath chamber. and a void chamber which takes you to balamora, caldera, mournhold( creates ne w mages guild no quests) and dagon fell( creates pawnbrookers 50000000 gold buys all.) and goes to all athough major cities
Ther anit nothing better than killing a wolf. Oh wait u can always kill 2............

Is it that one that glows with this blue purple like light?
That one was pretty cool, because of the glow and its sheer size however from the inside I found it a bit lacking. (though I am extremely spoiled :rolleyes: )
But if you like that one you might also want to check Castle Nerevar v2.0

It is compatible but you don't need any of them to make it work. (that is of course if we are talking of the same version, which I strongly suspect) Anywayz that for my version.

There's no danger in klling anything inside, just spare the person in ebony armor outside for a while if you're going to join Morag Tong (it's a waste of reputation point in killing a person with writ on before you've got one; i do not remember exactly if the person mentioned had one, altogether you definitelyare going to have orders regarding her).

Regarding mods - i'm using "A Good Place to Stay" in Balmora - plenty of room and storage, armor dolls (i cannot say if i'm using them much), two alchemy store sets in the same room (one of old House D'Orthay style, the other even better). I do not use the additional teleport set (optional additional plugin), though, it makes the traveling too easy.

Thanks for the info on that. I haven't joined the Morag Tong; as I am more than busy enough with the Fighter's and Mage's Guilds in addition to climbing my way up the ranks of the Telvanni. I've barely touched the main quest. :rolleyes:

Yesterday I went on a house downloading binge, lol! As I mentioned in a previous post I have already been using "A Good Cottage," in Balmora (down the river, near the eggmine), and then I proceded to install "Isengaard," (just south of Ebonheart), "A Cozy Fishing House," (at the Feilds of Kummu), and "Waterfall Island," (North of Sadrith Mora).

They range from very basic to modest, since I'm not keen on palacial residences. The Isengaard residence is very nicely proportioned and comes with a full alchemy set and supplies (as does does "A Good Cottage," -- they are both by 'Cuchulain' ), and has a nifty room in the basement that I'm sorely tempted to use... :D There are four doors down there that respectively lead to Balmora, Vivec, Khuul and Ald ruhn.... even better (or cheesier :rolleyes: ) You can use those same doors from the locations they lead to, hence getting back home is quite staightforward.

Though, as you point out, this does make travel very easy... :rolleyes: Since I am a magic user/fighter I can justify it easily enough from a roleplaying perspective, after all it seems natural that a high-ranking Telvanni mage would have her own personal teleportation room... but still... ;)

sometimes it doesn't matter what sort of description mod makers provide, there can still be glitches that screw up your game, which is part of the informative purpose served by forums such as this one. :rolleyes:

well i dont know, it was kind of early in the game and it was one of my first missions, and so i killed the guy who killed the tax payer at the beginning in Seyda Need. So i set a mark down and started living in his house. and i like it because it keeps me close to my roots :rolleyes:

but my next character a fulltime monk will have to be peaceful and therefore live as a nomad, crashing at the guilds he only joined in the first place so that he could have a place to crash :o ...sounds good

You're quite right regarding the main quest, i aproach it very steady, too. It's worth to get Corpus in time, though (not too early, however, just when the Strength and Endurance are 100 and other attributes with exception of Luck and Agility are over 80).
Altogether i'm usually going through Morag Tong duties first to avoid the killing somebody i might have a writ for. You see, in difference with other factions, if you have killed somebody having the writ for before you have the writ in hand it's not counted as honorable death and you do not get the reputation point (one per every two writs). Morag Tong also is sending you to almost all regions of the Morrowind, so you have excuse to become familiar with all of them (one of writs even gives you an excuse to pass near Tel Fyr if you're going a bit astray ;) ).
Altogether the Morag Tong quests do require some skill and equipment, that's right, so i''m rather wandering, hunting and doing lesser guild quests to get skills and experience until i'm ready.
