So I'm curious. With all these people on this forum, who uses xbox and who plays it on computer?
I'm asking this mainly because of the difference in the games (i.e. Mantle of Force, Heart of Guardian), but also because I can't imagine playing this on anything but the xbox...
The thought of using a -GASP- keyboard and mouse while playing just strikes me as eeeewww, when you can use the perfectly-shaped xbox controller and play it on your big screen TV...
So what is it? Xbox or PC?
BTW: Are there any other differences between the two systems besides MoF, HoG?
I would have to say they both have advantages I wouldn't say either one is better because after a while you get use to the keyboard mouse thing on your computer so its not that bad. Even though with X-box you can play it with surround sound ya know and big screen which is way fun. Plus the controller works really well. But the PC game has Yavin Station where you get awesome gadgets and crap. Plus you can get MOF and HOG. So I would say if your into having more stuff to do and you are way good with keyboard and mouse plus more gadgets and stuff then go for PC.
But if you like having it on the big screen like having a controller and surround sound then go for X-box. But I think the PC game has more advantages in the game then X-box because of the things I mentioned earlier about Yavin Station.
you can get a download off xbox live for the yavin level, so thats a kick in the nuts for the pc version.
I play xbox and my mate plays PC and the only difference of any note is (poss spoiler!!)
light side and dark side mastery. Which you do not get on the xbox version. But having seen the stats im not that impressed with the bonuses they give you.
But lets not forget that with the PC version you get all those lovely patches and cheats that us xbox users dont, which in my opinion makes us better at the game!!!
In response to being only able to play KOTOR in surround sound on the X-box, not true. I have a 5.1 speaker system for my computer, and I get the surround sound effect with the game. Also, many video cards have S-video out, so you could play on a tv, too. I am curious as to what the X-box controls are like, since you can use so many keys to do stuff with a keyboard. For instance, you can go to every menu in the game with a separate key. I think the main advantage of console games is price. Where as a really good computer system can be quite pricey, the console and game are about the same price as a decent video card.
