He's an elf of course, as was Bodhi. The whole story is about these sods having their elven immortality stripped from them for trying to become elven gods. The question is why is he portrayed way larger than any elf should physically be? And what's with the staples in his head that hold on than stupid skullcap of his?

Yes, you guessed it... It was only a question for the game, I'm aware of what you say.

New question... Or statement.

"Spectator" beholder would have been the more technically correct term but you are right of course. :)

Hmmm, I can actually think of 2 questions to this answer but since we are in the SoA forum (and not ToB), I am going to have to say:

Who is Zaaman Rul?

OK, now my answer (question):
This person lives and is yet dead. If you give her something she wants, she will forever rest.

Come on everybody, let's get this thing going again! :)

I didn't actually think about that! I wanted to make the answer vague as to not make it too obvious but I think I made it WAY TOO vague.

Let me give some more hints. The person I am referring to can be only found at night and her parents can only be found in daylight.

Hmmm, I can think of a couple things here but I am not really sure. I'll answer it after you get my question (answer) though. :)

I am going to be thinking for a quality question for the next round (not vague but not easy either).

this is odd. The only NPCs I know that can be found at night are Wellyn and Bodhi (and various vampires).... and Bodhi's parents are nowhere to be found. That leaves Wellyn... but Wellyn's not a girl. Actually I thought of Wellyn first, before the priestess. You sure its a girl that you want?

Pretty sure he means Wellyn. Dont worry about it, all the kids talk with female voices anyway, common mistake. Little pansy boy wanted his teddy back anyway, sounds like a girl to me.

As for the second question, who is Haer Dalis??

Araknid and JediColt,

You are both right!! I meant Wellyn and I thought he was a girl!

I think JediColt is right in that all kids seem to sound like little girls. I guess it would have been too much trouble for the programmers to do a couple seperate speeches for boys and girls. Instead, I guess they just decided that all little kids sound like girls.

OK, I'll void this question then and try to answer yours (the person who wants to die on the Prime Material Plane).

A: Who is Lavok the necromancer?

Originally posted by JediColt As for the second question, who is Haer Dalis??

Haer'Dalis is basically the second most annoying NPC of the game (or the most annoying if Anomen doesn't annoy you that much). Since we are doing jeopardy here and everything we are talking about here are spoilers, I'll just tell everything about him:

You get a quest for rescuing Haer'Dalis
if you go the Five Flagons Inn in the bridge district, go downstairs, watch a play (which is pretty funny) and then talk to Raelis Shae. She will tell you that Haer'Dalis is her friend and one of the actors and that he is held by an evil mage called Mekrath. To save Haer'Dalis, you have to go to the sewers in the Temple District and then go to the top of the sewers area, and search for the left secret door there (there are 2 secret doors on the walls in the sewers area but you need a key to open one of them). When you open this secret door and enter, you end up in Mekrath's house. You need to free Haer'Dalis here and take a gem that Haer'Dalis tells you belongs to him (it doesn't, it belongs to Mekrath. So, if you manage to steal or take the gem from Mekrath and free Haer'Dalis, he will join your party.

He is a jerk, has several VERY lame speeches and banters and if you are romancing Aerie, he fights you for her. He keeps calling you "my raven" and calls himself a sparrow (I had actually figured him gay and was surprised that he was hitting on Aeire) and just that alone makes me want to chop his head off or feed him to the Sahuagins.

He's got a couple good offensive and defensive abilities but he is no frontline fighter and he can learn some useful spells but he is no mage either. He is only good at pickpocketing but then again there are so many other NPCs that are good at this AND other things so that's no reason to get him.

Basically save this guy, go back to Raelis Shae and do this quest (yes, at least he has a nice quest) and then when you are done with his quest, dump him.

Oh, since I answered the question, it's my turn again I think (did I get it right?).

This item is made of three parts and its usage will create unfortunate consequences for those who do not strive to maintain balance. One of the components of this item is a gem.

yup, its lavok.

Q: What is the equalizer?

uh, this one seemed quite a bit easier than the wellyn one.... :)

A: A spell that can be cast only by one person and kills the target with no save and ignores magic resistance, hp, hit dice, and magic protection.

Hmm. I'm assuming JediColt was answering the lavok question... although i dont know if haer'dalis ever stated that he wanted to die on the PMP. well, never took him as a party member. Sorry if you're correct, JediColt. :p

Cutscene Power Word: Kill? Well, you might be referring to the correct instance of the spell... but there's a name for it. :) Try again? :p

well, your "answer" seems to be in an odd format... more like a question. Is there a name for the technique? As far as I know he has to be charmed somehow with a charm spell... but I'm not sure of the exact sequence. Anyway, I just bludgeoned that clown to death.
