Dragons Eye level 4
Im stuck on the last part of Dragons Eye level 4 where i have to kill the woman before she casts the spell. Ive been only to damage her a little bit every time i try. Im just wondering how everyone else was able to kill her. Anyone got suggestions on what works best. Ive been reading walkthroughs that say something about having a sorceror or wizard casts spells, but one problem, i'm going through without a wizard and i just wan to get an idea of how to kill her without the use of a wizard or sorceror.

this fight gave me a little trouble until i discovered my favorite spell for dealing with those irritating spellcasters--Otiluke's Resilient Sphere. it sequesters the spellcaster away and allows you plenty of time to mop up the baddies and prepare to surround the spellcaster. Just sit tight and when they come out of the sphere, let them have it.

I have never beaten that part of the game without a wizard or mage. Your best bet is to just arm your guys with every single explosive thing around.
The only other thing that I could do was I kept 'House of Despana Insignia' after the dryder quest from the drows. It can cast three different spells, one being that resiliant sphere...I gave it to my fighter/cleric and he managed to put her in sedation while I mopped up the rest of the baddies. Then, armed with the most powerful weapons I could grab, I waited until the spell ended and then just went ballistic as fast and hard as I could on her hoping that she dropped.
hope this helps.

To err is human, but to really screw up you need a computer
