I wasn't thinking of imprisonment. Firstly it doesn't kill anyone, secondly it isn't just one person that can cast it. True, ranged imprisonment can only be cast by demiliches; but they don't kill, all the same.
You are 100% correct. The first thing that came to my mind was Trap the Soul. This is what Kangaxx and the other demi lich in Watcher's Keep cast and it is different than imprisonment in that it can be cast from a distance (to cast imprisonment, you have to touch the creature you want to imprison). As you said however, neither imprisonment, nor Trap the Soul kills (altough the game ends as if you died if you get your PC imprisoned). As a result, a little bit of thinking rules out imprisonment and Trap the Soul as your question says that the spell kills.

I was thinking of Rapture of the Father... admittedly it cannot be cast by the party, but I never said that it had to be. Drow transformation can't be cast by the party either, but it's cast by Adalon. I'm asking the question (answer) based on the assumption that SK isn't used. Rapture of the father is cast by Irenicus only, and isn't affected by any statistic the target may possess. However the question is a little controversial... hence the confusion. Apologies for the question... it appears that most definitive questions seem to have been exhausted, heh.
In other words, Black_Paladin is right!
Your question is a good one too! The Rapture of the Father *IS* the only spell in the game that can be cast by a single person and kills without save or MR.
My third possibility after reading your question was "wish". Yes, wish! This is because in the cutscene where Irenicus kills you if you try to take him on alone in Spellhold, you can see in the roll bar below that he is casting "wish" to kill you. Bizarre yes *BUT* altough no other character can kill with wish, tons of people can cast this spell! So, wish is out too.
As a result, there is only one correct answer to the question and your question is not ambigious.

"I will heed no peasant?"
Is the answer to do with the blank or to do with whomever said that? Haha, anyway, I have no idea, although Roenall is the only NPC I remember that uses the word peasant... although he may not have said the above sentence. Well somehow I can't get the blank in, sorry...
I was actually going to type "fill in the blank" for this sentence but I thought it would be obvious that was what I wanted so I didn't type that.
Galuf the Dwarf got the question right (churlishness) so I guess the next question is his. Almost all nobles in the game say "I will heed no churlisness peasant" when you click on them (I find the really snotty way they say this hilarious!
) so I asked this pretty much out of humor's sake.
For Glacias, first of all, I am not a very big fan of Dan Simpson's walkthrough as it is not complete and has several mistakes in it. I got a couple other walkthroughs which are in my opinion much superier and detailed but that's just me. After all, there are zillions of walkthroughs for this game.
To reason why Glacias can't be charmed easily is explained in detail in several threads on this forum but suffice it to say that you are going to have trouble with casting charm on him with a high level character. A LOW level character might work. The ring of Human Influence will **ALWAYS** work because it casts the spell at a certain level and it is a low level (don't know what level).
Hitting him and doing other things to kick his script in might work because of exploits and bugs but there is absolutely no reason to do this.
There are actually fixes for Glacias made by members here but I have yet to see a fix included in a mod.
