Where does it stop?

Post by unregisturd »

Do attributes and skills both stop at 100? In my last game, I got my Long Blade Skill up to 120, and I'm not exactly sure how I did that. I thought maybe it was a blessing I got from one of the shrines? If so, is there a blessing for each skill and attribute? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

100 is the natural limit, if you have over 100 on the base skill and get a master trainer to train the skill then it wont go up past 100. i guess the only way would be through a spell or enchantment.

100 is the limit but if you have fortifying spells or anything similar it will raise up. I have some item that fortifys alot of my stats and now my heavy armor is 105. Maybe you are wearing an amulet or something that does that.

the abyss leers in hissing ruts.
Unhilt the black grimoire of death,
Inscribe all names that God has left.

From grief that creeps to wreathe the sun
In drapes inwove with deathshead wing
I thank God for the suffering

oww i know

Oh its easy to get longblade well over 100. Now I don’t know if this works with Morrowind on computer but on the xbox, if you know how to switch weapons in your inventory without going to menu, which is by holding x and using the left and right trigger to switch weapons. Well cast bound longblade and since the magic daedric item gives you plus 10 to long blade skill, if you summon it and a bunch of other bound weapons and hold x and hold down one of the trigger buttons also and you’ll sit there whipping through weapons and the 10 extra LB points add up and even after the spell bound items run out of time, you’ll keep all the extra LB or whatever weapon’s bonus points. You probably did this on accident. Yeah it’s a cheat I don’t like it but hey I don’t care either.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.

I know about this cheat. I once got my Long Blade up to 9,000 something and my Marksman up to 7,000 something. No, I didn't do the cheat on accident. I think I got a blessing that was like, "Fortify Long Blade" or something after I had 100 skill level.

Well if you didn’t accidentally switch through your weapons fast, I don’t know how you could’ve gotten it above 100. As for the blessing thing, I don’t know where you get blessings that give permanent extra LB points.

The governing attribute of Long Blade is Strength, right? So I'm thinking that maybe I got a blessing that was Fortify Strength, and while the blessing was still working, I went out and used my Long Blade. And someone said that your skill will go as high as its governing attribute. So maybe since my Strength was up, my Long Blade went up and stayed up, even after the blessing wore off. I once got a bunch of blessings at one time, and they all lasted until I fought something that took them away. I dunno. Some spell something cast on me. But anyways, yeah. I think it was a blessing.

Well I always use fortify STR potions so i can carry my loot to town. Also I have permanant fortify STR on my armor, and my LB stays at 100. In fact the LB progress bar on my menu says 'Maximum proficiency has been reached' and my strength is 118.

When my Long Blade got to 100, it said "Maximum proficiency has been reached," too, but it just kept going up. Then it stopped at 120.
