Is that build concentrating on using Critical Strike? If so why don't you have a saber using Nextor? And also why do you choose Sapith over Upari? And doesn't Jenruax give +5 BBD?

My LS Scout4/consular stats

st- 10 (don't need high strength could be lower if you wish but don't want anymore penalty)
dex - 16 (19 at end plus advanced stabilizer gloves, baragwin stealth belt, advanced alacrity implant and you have 30 dexterity)
cons- 12 (plus improved toughness and I found she rarely had to worry about health)
int -10 (only focused on Repair for Hk 47, Treat Injury and Persuade, ignored everything else even Awareness)
wis - 14 (+1 and circlet of Saresh +5 and Qel Droma robes +2 to get 22, substitute star forge robes and you have 25 then cast master valor)
char - 14 (+1 and LS mastery bonus you get 18)

She had two LS availalbe. One has mantle of the force with damind (2 force pt reg/round) and Solari ( bonus damage vs DS) with attack bonus of 5 and main weapon thru the Star Forge. Another has Heart of the Guardian with Sapith and Upari for +7 attack bonus which I used against Malak. With Master Speed and Hyper adrenal alacrity, she had a whopping 41 attack bonus going up against Malak so yes she had no problems hitting his defense of 38 (due to dexterity bonuses with lightsaber). She focused on Master duelling and Flurry. Slap on a good shield and she could go toe to toe with anyone.

Yes, but I also said that it was damage/critical hit and nextor doesn't give a whole lot of help on damage points besides the critical hit so its not really worth it. Actually on my soldier/guardian I have a better critical hit saber, but I was just putting up some stats anyways I'll post my very good critical hit saber up there, but that was for my consular so I wasn't really concentrating on everything I had in sabers. Since you count on force powers more.

Oh woops I forgot about the sapith question I put sapith because it has high damage and attack modifiers I think damage modifier is 3 and attack is 2 or something like that. These stats might not be perfect because when I got them I was in the middle of a fight with Malak so I couldn't really get everything perfect sorry about forgetting the +5 blaster deflection.

I'm just suggesting on jeremiahs build since thats what your going to try out I would change the constitution to 10 and the strength to 12 because with a consular you have lots of force points and if you have heal then you still don't have to worry about health so constitution I don't consider very important my most high was wisdom because I'm pretty sure wisdom helps in force regeneration or something like that I can't remember cause I've been trying out guardians. Anyways and then I had my consulars strength to 17 by the end I think because I had the dominator gauntlets. So he was pretty good with a lightsaber he fought to the death against malak and won with a lightsaber. So then everything else looks good in your stats jeremiah. Anyways just suggestions.

Wisdom does not increase force point regeneration. Items do :) . However, it does increase your force point pool and DC of your force powers.

I was not overly concerned about strength since she wasn't built to be a meelee fighter but she could hit them when she needed to because of her amazing dexterity. I prefer constitution to help fortitude saving throws. If you want to hit Malak, concentrate on either strength OR dexterity not both and it is easier to get amazing dexterity than strength. Doesn't matter if you do more damage with higher strength as long as you are guaranteed to hit his defense rating.

Feats were Master Duelling (increased her to hit bonus), Master Flurry, Implant 3, Improved toughness.

Powers Force wave (staple), Master speed (must for any build), Destroy droid (in retrospect should have stopped at Disable droid), force breach (only used against Malak and a few other occasions), Affect mind, Force Immunity, Throw lightsaber (should not have bothered as it was never used even in the fight against Malak), Master Valor and Cure. In hindsight, I should have traded Destroy droid (stopping at disable droid) and throw lightsaber for Improved Energy resistance.

Not very much since Death Field and Force lightning requires no armor. Force wave and stasis can be used with armor though. But the most dangerous enemies are enemy Force users so Force Immunity is a given which again means no armor.

yes, jeremiah you know like everything about this game I sware lol. :D But ya it's not smart to do that armor thing like gopher suggests in one of the other threads mainly because it limits you to only certain powers when a defense bonus of 12 isn't as valuable as force immunity and the powers that can't have armor on to be able to use. Also dexterity will make-up for the defense bonus in my opinion you don't need a high defense I mean I beat malak in qel-droma's robes and one time in a master dark jedi robe.

Guys, if you have problems with one another, take it out of the threads and into PMs (personal messages) which you can send one another via this board. (Click the PM button to do so. ;) ) Let's not get personal, here, or I'll be pulling posts. Thanks.

I actually tried Gopher's build and it was pretty good. However, I did not strictly follow his suggestions. I swapped between robes and the exoskeleton armor as needed. The one thing I agree on is to use the Baragwin assault blade but not two of them and dual wield it with a lightsaber so you can still Force Jump and deflect blaster bolts. Its critical chance and attack bonus is something that even the best lightsaber crystal combo cannot approach (you either get the keenness with lousy attack bonus or high attack bonus for 19-20 critical chance). Since Malak actually likes to use Force Breach a lot to dispel master speed, the exoskeleton worked out quite well and you can ignore his pathetic lightning attacks with a high vp soldier/guardian and Verpine shield.

One reason that one can get away without always casting Force Immunity is the sith mask and the insane amounts of VP that the build gets. But a low VP consular would be better off without armor and casting Force immunity.

That was also the only time I used throw lightsaber LOL.

Wasn't referring by name to anyone, @Jeremiah, and you weren't the intended recipient, anyway. ;)

Actually, I meant Jeremiah--made a mistake and assumed he was asking, not you, Avenger. :D

Apology accepted. You want to raz somebody for something, do it through PMs. Thanks. No reply is necessary. :)
