Master Thief and House switching - minor spoilers

Post by Coot »

1. I did all the Thieves Guild quests. Gentleman Jim promoted me to Master Thief and gave me the Skeleton Key. That's great, but is there anything else you get out of being the Leader Of All Thieves? Can you do anything with your title? Give orders?

2. I think I made a role-playing mistake joining House Hlaalu. They seem to be a bit on the evil side and my pc is a nice, if somewhat sneaky, Bosmer. Is it possible leave Hlaalu and join another House? I'd like to get to the point where I get a stronghold.

1. you cant give orders and haing the title is basicly all you get besiseds rep. boost and discounts amoung the guild

2.no you cant change houses everytime you even try to talk to another guild about joining after youve joined a house they say you can only be in 1 house outlander or something like that.

even if you get expelled from the house you still cant join another

Bummer

I joined House Hlaalu because al of the NPCs said that it was open to outlanders.
It turns out that All of my quests have involved killing opoor people or having to bribe someone to do 'business' with us.

I've decided to stop bothering with the house quests. (Same with the mages guid. Tons of jobs and no advancement because I'm not powerful enough. )

Yes... exactly what I don't want to do... but I was really curious about the stronghold.

Lou! Lou, Lou!

Why are there no Lou Reed related quests?

"Wait for a man at Lexington and 125th street."

"Walk on the 'Wild Side'"
"Clean up the 'Dirty Blvd.'"
Retrieve the Sword of Damaclese.
Eat bacon & Ice Cream.
