final save problem

Post by BILBAST »

Im having this problem:
Wanting to import my character from BG1 and ToSC, I used the final save from BG1 only to find out that my main character did not cary the golden pantaloons that I wanted to complete the pantaloons quest.
So I tryed to start BG1 and do the last battle with my character having the pantaloons on him. But when I try to open the last save ( the one that is made after the game finishes) The game stucks and the cut seene where you enter the place where Sarevok is is played all the time. I dont have any other saved games from BG1. Can I do anything about it?
Forgive my terrible english, thank you very much. :(

Hi there if i get what you are meaning you can find the golden pantaloons in the room on the left of the room you start, the room with the golem in it.
hope this is what you wanted to know...

No they are not there, because I did not have them on me when I finished BG1, they where on Imoen I think. My problem lies on a final save game that I cant open. Could it be that I uninstaled and then re instaled BG1?

just use shadowkeeper and give yourself the pantaloons. getting the big metal unit is fun, but personally i find it very out of character, so i dont use it. :)

As far as i know it dose not matter who has the pantaloons, as long as you found them they should be there. So there could be a problem with your save game...
But just like arakin70 said use shadowkeeper to give yourself a pair.
