Post by Wopps »

I'm level 10, can handle pretty high level enemies. and i was wondering what would be the easiest and best heavy or medium armor to get for me.

orc is super nice medium
imperial templar is a nice heavy for the fashion conscious imperial, but to get the lot you really have to be super high in the legion

the lord's mail is prety nice, though it's not a hole suit. you can find it near ebonheart in a underwatercave, the man inside is wearing it.

With the lord's mail, you will also find the demon katana wich is a nice sword, I used it a while, but now I use the umbra's sword (as mentioned in the topics Weapons of mass destrutction) its a very good weapen and I got it when I was level 11 or so, now im level 14.

Non specialist armour.
dreugh helmet, cuirass and shield with Ordinator pauldrons and bracers (or is it gauntlets with them, I forget). add some basic bonemold greaves and you are there for medium armour.

Heavy stuff is daedric, ebony, dragonscale in decreasing order of protection (and weight). What you wear is very much down to how strong you are, because it's unlikely you are so strong that you can wear all ebony armour and have plenty of room left to carry stuff you find.

This is why many people ignore medium armour and train in both light and heavy and then mix and match stuff like ebony with, say, glass armour. Then when you find unique items of armour you swap for them.

I forgot the orc armour which is good medium armour, and the dwarven stuff. I never really used either, so I am not certain exactly how good they are.,

where do you get umbra sword

This is a SPOILER

It is in the mountains east of Suran, an orc really maddened by its power uses it to battle you you can talk to him and he will ask you to kill him. I recommend using lots of flin, like 20. Good luck searching and trying to kill him.

you could always shoot him from a distance, with magic or arrows
but that would take the fun out of killing him
cast a shield spell/scroll. that should lesson the damage you take from his sword.
fighting him with full health and mana to start with might go without saying, but you should make sure you have full stamina too
you could cast burden on him too, or something like that
cant remember how i did it but i probably used a bunch of health potions, or i did other things and left fighting him until i was really tough

levitate and bash him with spells, or enchant some items with good damage spells, and strafe him while levitating...

the best unmodded swords in morrowind is...

chysmere...does awesome damage...and the spells it comes with are pretty good...

its better than umbra, and is easier to get, just hard to find...

skull crusher is awesome up to sunder as one handed blunt...

ebony staff is best enchantable weapon, highest enchant number in the weapons catagory...

:p
They call me Darth...

Darth Gizka!

Muwahahahahhahahha!!!
