lol! these are fun ideas

I have been considering actually making a mod...providing I can learn how to use the TES....

Nothing complex, just the proverbial house mod. Having scoured the various house plug-ins and realising that good ones (well those I tend to prefer anyway) are few and far between in the Grazelands area I think this is where I would position it. While I'd be tempted to make it a Telvanni Tower, I think I would more likely opt for something Redoran or Nordic in style. It would be fairly basic, no uber items... but it would be cozy and adequately spacious with lots of storage; it would also be nicely lit. Extra unnecessary touches might include some tame guars (perhaps even a pack guar ;) ), and a garden full of alchemy-oriented plants surrounding a small pond. Because the area is a bit remote it would include a teleport ring and a basement with doors leading to Balmora, Vivec, Ald 'ruhn, Vos, Sadrith Mora and Khuul.

Now all I need to do is learn how to use the TES ! :p

No thanks. There are plenty of places to call home in every village or town in the game. Another house mod is not needed. With all the ways already in the game for fast travel more instant teleport options would just be cheesy. You already have Almsivi and Divine Intervention, Recall, guild guides, boats and silt striders. Maybe even Boots of Blinding Speed combined with CE levitation or water walking or uber Jump skills. To much quick travel can eventually spoil the adventure. The last thing I want is a remote house/stronghold somewhere to stash my excess loot. I let Creeper keep tabs on everything I don't want, store the overflow upstairs from him and use Shanks Shovel or Nedelas' house in Caldera for other stuff. Maybe its just me, but I don't like decorating houses, collecting items, or setting up a 'home' in a game like this. You're supposed to be an ex-convict turned Neravarine, not some nest mother. You're on the move, an action oriented adventurer/saviour, not some insecure twinky who has to set up a 'home-sweet-home' area. It serves no purpose. I just want to be able to lay my hands on the things I've come across and may need again. What I can't carry is stored on the floor or with Creeper. I only use someplace handy like Shank's Shovel bedroom for an alchemist setup.

On a more encouraging note, I'm sure there are lots of MW fans who would love yet another cute little house to call their own. In that case, go for it if you want. Might even want to include a lacy curtain and throw pillow option. In fact, I think I've already downloaded a mod that does this. Tried it and didn't like it if I recall correctly.
