hmmm, well i am aware that you can import your character to Neverwinter Nights, but im not sure about IcewindDale II. I suppose if you could, then you would go onto IceWIndDale II and (if there was one) import character, search through the main menu. Hope i delped ya.

Character importing
In a word...no. BG2 is based on 2nd Ed. D&D rules and IWDII is based on 3rd Ed. D&D rules.
There is also no facility to import your BG2 char to NWN. Yes, I know one of the loading screens tells you that you can, but this feature was dropped at the last minute. Seems the designers saw the stupidity in trying to import a high-level character into a game where you start at Lvl 1 again.
The only facility for character import is from BG1/TotSC -> BG2/ToB
