Yeah, a place to legally level. Hmm... maybe whacking mercanaries if they are still there.

Your cleric could gate in a number of pit fiends, you get some nice XP for the kills, I think.

yes that is a great trick to gain lvl's or just some extra kills.

Summon any Demon or just Gate all work fine to get extra exp.
to be really cheesy u must cast Prot. From Evil rad.10 so u won't get hurt.

Killing summoned or gated creatures doesn't give any exp in ToB...

i never toyed much with the machine of lum the mad , but does it creat monsters with any combo? You could always use that wish that asks for exp , then spawns several monsters for you to kill.

The effects seem to be random, once my character was "stoned", then, with the same combo, hit with fire for 20 damage...

Levelling up:
Do this:
Go to the outside firegiant area.
Rest.
Two firegiants will popup and you'll get a "hey stupid, rest in your pocket protector plane" message.
Kill giants and repeat.
"Those are brave men out there, let's go kill them"

Ummm, playing as a sorc, I've used Limited Wish to summon in a range of golems. If you could survive the onslaught you'd get a bag of exp.

I know some tricks that work in SoA at the very least:

*** Shameless Cheese Alert ***

[*]Cast Imprison and Freedom over and over again on the same creature.

[*]Cast Stone to Flesh and Flesh to Stone over and over again on the same creature (low budget version of the previous).

Polymorph the victim into a squirrel to prevent them from interfering in the meantime.
