Harper's Call and lost HP ??

Hi all,

New to the board here. And also new to the game. Been having a blast. I played D&D a lot in the mid-80's, and then my son recently brought home BGII. It has been a lot of fun learning how to play higher level characters (mine always died by Level 6 or so). I'm not typically a computer gamer, but I guess all things change....

Any way, on to the question. With Harper's Call, it states that one loses 10 HP. Is this permenant, or do you heal from it?

you heal from it. it's just 10 damage points (if thats what you want to call it)

only jaheira gets harper's call though

I guess I could have killed one of my NPCs and tried it out.
