*spoiler*Pirate treasure on Solstheim

Post by Foss »

When you ask Curius(sp), the leader of Fort Frostmoth in Solstheim, about a little advise or little secret, he will tell you shortly about a rumor that there should be a hidden pirate treasure, who no one has been able to find.

But it doesn't update my journal, and I haven't heard others speak of it.
But, it reminds alot about the Seyda Neen quest for the murder of the tax collector, where it starts from rumors/secrets.

So, anyone knows more about this hidden treasure?

it is buried under some muck behind valbandyr (have i spelt that right) barrow which is under the arch near the sun stone statue. But to open the chest you'll need the key from the skelton pirate captain and hes in a barrow south of the sun stone.

****
highlight the spoilerism:
i did a quest for a sea captain cursed for eternal awakeness, and he told me the location of some treasure and gave me the key to the level100 lock (not that i needed it...)
digging out my map, i see the little island isnt really on it. but its south west of the skaal village roughly. off the coast.
its a barrow i believe. with piles and piles of 1000 gold and various expensive weapons and jewels. its quite the find, but nothing unique and wonderful that you'd actually use
the sea captain can be found standing at thormoors watch i believe.
dont know if that is actually the pirate treasure though, it sounds like its the one you mentioned

Well, Pirate treasure or not. I found the one I posted above.

Not the same as yours.

5k gold, and some jewels

nothing magically.
