trouble with Deekin HotU Spoiler?

I have played through act 2 with Deekin and Valen as my henchmen, but when I enter act 3 I only get to bring Valen along. Is this some kind of bug? (and the stuff I put on Deekin isn't in the pool of lost souls)

Must be. I played through 2 and 3 with Deekin and he is still hanging out. He did not die at the end of chapter 2 or anything did he? He died in some fight and I forgot to res him and had to go all the way back and fetch him.

Yes, I believe it is a bug. You must ask Deekin to leave your party in Chapter 2, then ask him to join again if you want to keep him for chapter 3.

That would explain why I've never had Deekin with me in chapter 3 either

Deekin stayed right by my side through the entire HotU expansion. He even decided to side with me in the final battle.
It IS easy to get stuck on the little guy isnt it. LOL.

God, Deekin is back in HotU?

I hate that guy in SoU...

That's it, I'm playing evil in HotU and kill him! It will be a bit strange though since I'm playing a goody two shoes palladin in SoU.
