I think I got some serious problems with my HotU expansion.
For one thing, Ive been reading about all the riddles and puzzles, yet im almost to the third level of undermountain and I have yet to see or read ONE SINGLE puzzle anywhere. Ive seen a post about the puzzles in the Hall of the dead kings, and just read another puzzle riddle on another post regarding something about the color of lights needed to zap the door open.
(incidentally, I tried diff. combo's of turning the 3 statues and pulling the levers, and now my statues are frozen and surrounded by a force field which doesnt allow me to manipulate them anymore. They are frozen forever and the locked door will never open).
Also, I have installed all 4 colored chains to access the 3rd level, and I look into the pool and I get a message that says I cant use the pool yet. So I am stuck on level 2 and can go no further in the game. I have tried for 3 hrs to pull diff. combo's of chains, etc. but I still get the same message from the pool.
If I have to re-start this game from scratch, Im just gonna un install it and buy something else.
And yes, I have the latest patches downloaded and installed. Its the first thing I do whenever I buy a new game. Anyone got any suggestions?
serious HotU problems..

The chain and pool puzzles goes roughly like this.
After placing the 4 chains, spots of color should appear over the pool in a certain pattern.
To open the door, you need to pull the chains in the same pattern - iirc it is 6 colors in the pattern.
So if you have spots of color above your pool, try pulling the chains in the same pattern.
The other puzzle you mention with the 3 statues is a minor but extreemly annoying one.
3 statues needs to be turned towards the door and then locked in position by the leaver next to it.
If you by accident or mistake have locked a statue in a certian direction that isn't poiting to the door - then you have no possible way of completing the puzzle. But fortunally - there is only minor treasure on the otherside of the door.
I don't know why it is made this way, but it sucks not having the option to reset the puzzle (havne't found a way anyways).

The really fun (in a sick, sadistic kind of way) puzzle is somewhere in Undermountain. it's a simple room with a chest.
Only the catch is, when you walk towards the chest, and it reappears on the opposite side of the room. Walk towards that chest, and it moves back again.
After you walk back and forth through that room a few times, you feel really, really stupid. It *is* solvable, but I'm feeling like an evil bastard and not gonna give away the solution.
