Moved to Game Discussion, seeing as it isn't a NwN specific question.

Think you might tell us what you've played in the CRPG genre first, @Galar? It will probably save half-a-dozen posts where you merely reply with "Oh, I've played that." :D ;)

Why not try some other mod´s for NWN.
I heared some great things about Shadwlords-Dreamcather.

And i know Penultima is very good!

Play Fallout 1&2. If you already did, play them again.

Dungeon siege is a good tide over for a while (and the Aranna expansion, and the sequal is looking solid so far (if the trailer is any indication).

I don't know of any player-made modules for NWN that are any good, although I'm open to suggestions myself if anyone has any reccomendations (I've been sitting around for two years waiting for World of Warcraft, i'm bored!)

No extension but ALOT of modules (the whole idea for NWN was so that players could make their own story's)
Take a look at the once I mentioned earlyer. There entire new games.

Most of 'em aren't too long, but a few comprise series that will keep you occupied for as much as 15 hours or more. The quality of writing and coding also varies considerably, but at its best, the stuff easily competes with the commercial product.
