Ok, so I made an human kensai with 14, 18, 14, 13, 8, 18 and gained a lvl, and I cant dual??......why? shouldnt I be able to dual thief or something?

You need at least 15 strength and 17 dexterity if I remember correctly.

Bards can't be dualled at all.

Check your alignment too ~ you need to be of "thief-compatible" alignment to dual into thief (can't remember exactly off the top of my head, but Lawful Good probably won't work...).

This got me the first couple of times trying to dual class as well. I haven't found it in the manual, but it is on the dual class screen.
To dual class, the character must have a 15 or higher in thier prime requisite (attribute) of current class and a 17 or more in the class they are changing to.
If I had Shadow Keeper back then I would have "fixed" the stats accordingly. Hope that helps.
