Imoen into multi-class

I ran into this thread ending in a sort of consensus that hacking a NPC via SK from dual- to multi-class is not possible. Is that still the general opinion?

I really want to give Imoen UAI while having her be a high-level mage -- is there a way to do it beside multi-classing?

Well, you can just give her the UAI ability with SK, but from my experience you can't change her to a multi-class mage/thief (not even if you change her race to half-elf or something).

try changing her avatar to elf...

it seems to work sometimes, other times not...

Nope, didn't work Oh well, now she is an assassin dualed to mage at 13, just about to regain her assassin class in spellhold and waiting to get UAI with her mage HLAs

Of course she won't unless I perform some dark & mysterious schmuckery in SK
