I have missed the key of Watcer's Keep Dungeon Level I
When playing Shadows of Amn I went to Watcher's Keep to buy potion case and I entered level 1 to take plenty of arrows.Unfortunately I took the key of the norteastern room to complete the ritual to enter second level. But I lost the key and didn't notice it unless I finished the quest of Yaga -Shuara in Throne of Baal.I dont know where I lost ýt cuz I only use quicksaves.Do u know a way to find lost quest items.I have made a level 24 cavalier and I dont want to finish the game without seeing this imprisoned guy.I try to find some sites to make a solution but didnt find something noticable rather than cheating codes.Do u know a way to unlock doors which requires conventional locks. <deleted>

@Hamlet, welcome to the forums.
You are welcome to post requests for information here, but please, don't ask people to email you the information to those questions. It's like saying, "I need help, but your forum's not interesting enough to read, so just send me the answers privately."
Consider, too, how many people can benefit from the answers to all questions. Hopefully, you'll come back and take an active part in the most consistently interesting BG2 forum online.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Sorry but there is no way to open that door without the key and you can't get that key without "cheating": you can either "cluaconsole" it or use S.K. to get it.
Anyway, even if you had more saved games (which is a good habit anyway) wouldn't have helped you much, unless you wanted to play again the game from that save.

Ok u re right.I didnt think that way and never have an intent to be rude.I am really a fan of game.I finished it with an invoker and fighter thief before.I only made a a cavalier to see how he acts to Demogorgon -the Demon Prince-Because the purpose of this charecter to beat it without any help of speel trigger spell squencer, breach, ruby ray of reversal ,speel strike, and etc.a real holy paladin of overfather Ao.but now his only enemy will be Melissan blackhearted.thanx for ur advices.I will be careful next time.lastly these forums re for everybody not for individual purposes.I think u understand me.A paladin never will be cheater. i will face the consequences of my mistakes.thanx again
As I recall, you can sneak in the back door. On the exterior of the WK map there are stairs that lead up to doors to each level of the dungeon which are closed till each level's completed (then they turn into a swirly smoke animation)...the closed door that leads to the Lower Vault (home of big D) doesn't fit...if you place the cursor over the lower part, you can get in.
This was suppossed to have been fixed in the last Baldurdash fix pack but on my last few run throughs I've noticed that the bug was still there...although this may be some quirk thats local to my game which has been modded quite a bit and might be messed up...
Ahhh...never mind

Merhaba Hamletxx82-Bei!
You can solve your problem with the debug (cheat) console. Quoted from Dan Simpson's walkthrough available on this website (in PC games section):
Then, you can press CTRL-SPACE to bring up the console and type:
CLUAConsole:CreateItem("xxx")
exactly as above only substituting the three xxx (the quotation marks need to be there) with the proper item code.
Item codes for quest objects in Watchers Keep follow below in my second post. I think if you get
PLOT01A
PLOT01B
PLOT01J
PLOT01K
PLOT01O
you will be fine (you can always get everything and then leave behind whatever you don't need).

You can solve your problem with the debug (cheat) console. Quoted from Dan Simpson's walkthrough available on this website (in PC games section):
1) Open the game's directory C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA
2) Open the Baldur.ini file in notepad.
3) Find the line [Program Options]. Under it are a variety of settings for your game. Add this line: Debug Mode=1
And it must be Debug Mode=1, not debug mode=1 or anything else. Save and close notepad.
4) Now when you are in the game, press CTRL-SPACE to bring up the Console. This is where you will enter all the cheats.

Something similar happened to me playing Baldur's Gate. I only just managed to solve all of the dwarven guards' riddles in Durlag's Tower, but my party was still too inexperienced to face them. So I dropped the bottle of wine and went off to do something else. When I got back, I couldn't find the wine bottle, and so couldn't get into the tower.
Some items in BG didn't have any ground icons, so if you dropped them they became invisible. I ended up just spawning a new bottle using cheat codes. Since I'd already earned the wine bottle, I didn't really consider it cheating (after all, it was there somewhere - I may have dropped it near a door or something so the cursor wouldn't register it during my frantic random cursor sweeps!)

Thanx a lot for ur advices.Yes at last killed it with Carsomyr+6 with 4 healing potions , a cloud giant potion and a regeneration potion then went to Melissan. While in the game I was in romance with Viconia but at the end of game in epilogue it said she was poisioned by a Lolth priestess.Believe it or not I cried when read this. Why this unhappy end.By the way the musics of this game r incredibly wonderful. The theme while battling with fives , the one in Amkethran and the music while trying to escape from Draconis
.According to me these themes could be masterpieces of classical music. They suit the atmosphere of the game too much.Again thanx lot for ur recipes...
