Some questions about the game.
Why can a sorcerer cast multiple spells in battle but other magic using classes cant? A sorcerer has little numbers by her spell selections telling how many more times she can use that level of spell in battle. Is she the only one who has that?
How do you read weapon damage? What's the 1d12 19-20*3 supost to mean?
How do i get attacks of opportunity like my enimies?
What's a save throw and all the other battle lingo supost to mean
?

reading the manual will help you a lot....
1d12 means it will do a minimum of 1 and a max of 12 damage
19-20 is the critical threat range, if you roll this there is a chance you can get a critical hit and do more damage
the 3 is the multiplier of how much more damage you will do
sorcerer's spells are different from the mage's instead of memorizing and preparing ahead of time, the sorcerer can cast all her spells per day depending on the situation or the mood she is in. it offers more flexibility

ok:
1st you have to select your spells (on your PC screen - the right above the inventory screen (there you can also see how many spells you can cast of each level until you have to rest again!)
2nd you have to rest for full 8 hours undisturbed
3rd then you should be able to cast spells entering the radial menu !
...hope that helps...

okay, this is ****ing gay. I can cast so many skills of one level per day, but only one specific skill once per day? That's so stupid
!!! Once a caster has delpeted the spells he has even if he can cast more of that level of spell per day his usefullness is gone if he can't do anything else, which usually he cant. I wonder what genious thought of that. Why not make it so you can cast as many spells of a level per day as allowed without the limit of one spefific spell use per battle? That would have been the logical thing to do. Plus, it says he has the spell memorized. You don't forget something you just learned when you put that knowledge to use.

OK, as a first level Druid, you should have 3 Orizons (0 level spells) and 1 first level spell. What is your druid's wisdom? Just wondering since that controls some of the spell casting, but should not cause this particular issue.
All right, you just got into a fight, and your druid cast his/her first level spell in the first round. Now it is his turn again. What happens when you try to cast another spell?
When you bring up the spell list on the radial menu, the first level spell should be gone because you just cast it, but the "0" should be there to select from among your Orizons to cast. What do you see?
Also, if this answers your question, sorcerers (and bards) are the only spellcaster that just select from all spells they know to cast whenever they want. All other spellcasters must select which spells they will cast that day and memorize them appropriately. For example, if your Wizard thinks they will want to cast magic missile twice that day, then they need to memorize that spell twice (in two slots). A druid is the same way. Once you have cast a specific spell, it is gone from your memory until you rest. The only way to cast that exact spell again would be if you had memorized it in TWO of your spell slots that morning.
EDIT:
also noticed you just reposted - my thought is this: a spell caster has to be carefully balanced in the game. If they did not lose a spell when cast, it would be nearly impossible for them to be defeated. They could just cast spells endlessly. If you want to freely cast any spell you know, try a sorcerer. That's what I do.

Here is another point sugah.
If you wish to cast more spells per day instead of resting all the bloody time-buy scrolls!
My wizard has a lot them as in the following:
2-Sleep Scrolls
1- Deep Slumber
7- Magic Missles
4- Acid Arrows
1- Charm Monster
1- Sleet Storm
1- Cone of Cold
2- Lighting Bolt
1- Charm Person
7 -Mage Armors
2 Web
This makes it sooooo much easier then running back to Hommlet or where ever. (I only go back to Omlet if I need to sell or buy more scrolls. I sleep in the Temple and never get an attack where I sleep
)
anyways thats my list and they come in handy. You can buy scrolls from Burne and some from the dude in the Tavern.
I have also found out buying healing scrolls from the old hag in Nub and the Presit in the church of Omlet help out too.
I am pretty sure your sorcerer has the ability to scribe scrolls later on down the line. Although I dont know what level your party is. But hey this just a thought.
Hope this helps.

Ugh.
If it says you can cast three level 0 spells per day then you can. But for non-sorcerers, you have to select which ones you're going to memorise first. Hit I and click on the rightmost tab, this is your spellbook. Now memorise the spells you want to use. Now sleep. Now cast as required. As you get more levels you can memorise more spells. That's it.
Later on, take craft wand as a feat and make a bunch of wands. That way you're not out of the game when you've used up all of your memorised spells.
