Ultimate Fighter/Tank Character... Help me build him!

Post by Dark Master »

I want to build a Fighter from the ground up. I played Morrowind a lot last year, and since coming back to it, I've played as thief and mage characters since I tended to play as mostly fighters last time. I've made 2 Breton Mages, 2 Monks one imperial and one arogonian (that was weird), 1 High Elf Mage, 1 Breton Necromancer/War Wizard with heavy armour talent and long blade (below), and 2 Wood elf thieves/archers, one Kagjit thief, and quite a few thief/mage mixes in-between.

Anyway, I thought I'd ask about building my first real heavy fighter since I came back to the game. What race, sign, and skills should I take? I definitly want long blade, and heavy armour. I'd also like block and armourer, with possibly another weapon skill, and in minor I'd want another armour skill, but its not essential. I don't care about magic, I'll enchant things, and sneak isn't important either. Unlocking things can be done with an amulet.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I should build this character. I'm guessing Redguard, Imperial, Orc, or Nord would be the race, but if you've had sucess with another I'd like to hear from you. I'm guessing the Lady sign would be a good one and Strength and Endurance as favoured attributes so that I get huge health bonuses when levelling up, but maybe you have other suggestions?

By the end of his time in Vvardenfel I want him to be head of the Fighters Guild, House Redoran, and the Imperial Legion, as well as obviously fulfilling all three main quests and the Raven Rock colony. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I should make and role-play this character? By Roleplay I'm talking about the first 10-15 levels, guilds to join, side quests to do, items to collect etc... Thanks in advance.

Personally I would pick Dark Elf. The most commonly spell used in games by creeps in the world is fire, even in this game. A lot of the high level fire casters like Dremora and the Ascended Sleeper (which I believe is the strongest creep in the game.) Dark elves have 75% fire resist, so I barely feel when they cast spells on me.

Also I believe if you want extra free stats, you should join one of the vampire clans. http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/showt ... adid=30752 <--- info here.

As for your starting attributes, I think they should be endurance and luck, put one point into luck every time you level and you'll have 100 luck when your level 50. Strength doesnt effect how much health you get when you level. Just when you start the game, your starting health is half what your endurance and strength is put together. Making strength a primary attribute will only let you start out with 5 extra hp.

As for sign, I like the thief, since you get hit less. If you want the perfect warrior, thats the sign you should get, the Warrior. However the Lover lets you paralyze a person for 60 seconds. So that would come in handy. Plus you start off with an extra 25 to Agil for choosing it.

Then for job classes, I think you should pick one already made. It’s easy to make the perfect character, but it’s more of an obstacle to play the crusader or paladin or something. Just keep in mind of that. Or you can do the question game to choose your character. Then look up the description of that job class in your booklet or something, and role play that.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.
