Keldorn in ToB (possible spoiler)

Keldorn in ToB (possible spoiler)

I'm in the middle of playing SoA. In Keldorn's family quest, Keldorn agrees to stay with my party, but states that he will retire and go back to his family after he's finished helping me out.

I've seen various posts asking what parties people are going to use in ToB, and some replies include Keldorn in their party. Is it safe to assume that Keldorn is available for your party in ToB, despite his saying in SoA that he intends to retire?

As a roleplaying matter, I'll probably release Keldorn and let him retire, and replace him with Sarevok, but was curious to know anyway.

He does come with you in ToB.
