I'm in the tomb in the Black Raven Monastery. I can break into the crypt to steal the loot, and even avoid the golems, but I'd really like to kill them.
The only thing I've got that seems to be able to harm these guys are some +5 (or equivalent) weapons on my fighter and ranger. None of my spells have an effect. Any advice to dispatch these guys?
Here's my party
Fighter 12
Ranger 10/Fighter 2
Battleguard of Tempus 12
Bard 12
Rogue 10
Wizard 11
Thanks

i have found the best means of dealing with the golems is always the summon undead spells. it takes down their hp's and keeps you from taking direct damage until they are a little easier to kill. of course, with mid level characters, you should be able to throw in a few undead to soften the golem up and then slam it with the fighters and rangers.
iron golems can be hit by +3 or better enchantment weapons, including missile weapons, whic are the key to my strategy.
what i find usefull is getting all of my party to the gate area, afeter which the dwarves are located. the "choke point" at the end of the pass that opens into the small area in front of the gate will only stand one golem at a time.
here's my strategy, step by step:
1. all of the party is with their backs to the gate, equipped with +3 or better missile weapons (arrows of piersing, sure strike, etc.), buffed, hasted, all you can do.
* an option is to stand a high fort-saves tank a little bit to the front, with a returning throwing weapon withe lesser enchantment - his hits will not do damage, but will stop the advancement of the golems.
2. summon 6 undead, with spells/wand from the battlesquares, and put them at the chokepoint.
3. one char unlocks the tomb and gets the items, then runs to join the party.
4. focus all your fire on one golem as soon as you see him.
5. one spellcaster keeps the undead alive, summoning more as they get wasted by the golems. wand of the dead will do wanders here.
repeat 4 & 5.

I found that with the bard song, it was much easier to take down the golems as they have insanely hard to hit AC (for lower level characters). I sent in some undead to distract them and resilient sphered the poor guy I sent to get the stuff before he got killed. Then while the undead preferably zombies or zombie lord so they resist bludgeoning distracted the golems, the party used their missile weapons (+3 ammor for everyone) and the bard song stacking (sing, stop, sing, stop continuously) made sure all the ammo hit the golems LOL. Noted that you have a bard.

i think you must passed it by now. but i want to tell my strategy. i sommoned 4 undeads, and send two of them to the northwest irongolem, send two of them to southwest irongolem. i summoned an animal and send him northeast iron golem. When the battle starts summoned an earth elemental (not fire because fire heals them) and attacks to the southeasth irongolem. My paladin with club of disruption (from battle squares) attacks to the south east one (he has protection from evil). Druid and roge attacks with ranged weapons that have +3 or more to northeast irongolem. When the two of them down than go the other two. It is not easy but possible after 15-20 re-loads. And you can use electrical spells to slow them.
Wow didn't know people were still playing this game... kewl.
Lots of cheesy methods to defeat iron golems.
1. bard song stacking
2. Invis sphere 2-3 party members at the choke point and the rest hit with ranged wpns or mordenkainen's sword from behind. Optional use of protection from poison scrolls on the invis members.
3. Solo with a mage. Cast imp invis on mage and use mordenkainen's sword.
