I agree totally. It gets sooo annoying and boring having to deal with the same old monsters all the time. giants is an extremely well done mod, and i salute the dudes who put it together. You guys should check out the Nevarine Palace mod too. the armor manaquines are a good idea. pretty nifty.
I have fun, or at least not when I'm busy being bored

What's Better Bodies? Never heard of that mod.

Better bodies - watch out, nude bodies...

You should read some posts of other members, cause I mentioned it quite often in other threads...

I'll be sure to slot it in to my extensive open time, between 3:00 AM and 3:01 AM. :p

Where do the giants turn up? Are we looking at high level critters that mix in with other, lesser stuff in a way ordinary non-heroes will regret for their very short lives? :D

But for best Morrowind mod, ever? Well, I mean if this thread was over in SYM (Speak Your Mind), that would go without saying, given the extraordinary number of leches of both sexes who occupy that virtual space (including myself). We're supposed to be serious gamers here, though! :D

I've heard very good things about that Giants mod; also Twin Lamps, and The Illuminated Order. I tend to like mods that are 1) balanced and 2) friendly to both the game in general and other mods in particular. It appears that while I've been doing other things, the mod community has been very busy, indeed.

Ok Fable, you want a good mod, i'll give ya a good plug-in ^^ :

Partners Mod v. 2.2 by Cutthroat Mods

Features:

1. Adds more than 50 Partner NPC's to Vvardenfell. Each NPC has the Tribunal companion and share inventory abilities.

2. Partner NPC's may become your friends, companions, or partners based on their dispositions.

3. NEW - Realistic levelup system in which the player trains NPC's that follow him/her. Provides attribute and skill increases depending on whether NPC's are combat, magic, or stealth class. NPC's also receive additional increases in those skills that the Player is strongest. All increases including level are saved to the appropriate values in the game engine.

4. NEW - Complete abilities report provided in dialogue that lists level and all attributes and skills with their current values.

5. NEW - Partner NPC's will provide a local weather report, report the current phases of the moons, and tell you the date and time in Vvardenfell local standard time, of course.

6. NEW - Partner NPC's have the warp follow script, sneak when the player sneaks, move aside when told, and drink healing potions if equipped and when needed.

7. NEW - NPC's have a Mark and Return ability that works anywhere outside.

8. NEW - NPC's use levitate and waterwalking whenever the player uses the appropriate spell or potion on himself/herself. NPC's have waterbreathing ability, so they won't drown.

9. NEW - Numerous bandits have been added. They will not follow you, but do offer some unique experiences.

10. NEW - Several tame beasts have been added that will follow your commands, defend you if attacked, and carry your possessions.

11. The player can heal NPC's.

12. Several dialogue topics are available depending on your relationship.

13. Sexual relationships are possible. :p (Homosexual relationships are not supported.) Includes adult rated sound effects, so use with care.

14. NEW If you fall in love with your new friend or companion, you can ask the lucky person to be your partner, sort of the Morrowind equivalent of wife or husband.

15. You have the ability to break off your relationships with NPC's, but be careful because some do have tempers or may hold a grudge.

16. Partner NPC's do have minds of their own. If you do not maintain your relationship or treat them badly, they could break off the relationship, sometimes for good.

17. Many Partner NPC's come with their own journal which shares a part of their background, hopes, dreams, and personalities, so that some are truly unique characters.

18. One of the greatest features of the Partners Mod is the ability to quickly and easily add your own custom designed NPC's to the mod complete with all the dialogue and scripting of the other Partner NPC's.
